All Day Event Arts Banquet ‘A Day In The Life’ at Quay Arts
Observe a group of Artists paint an image in a day. An exhibition of the finished works ‘A day in the life’ will open at 8pm.

10am-6pm Canoe Polo Killaloe Cup Killaloe Canal
Teams from all over the country battle it out over two days to become Killaloe Cup Champions. For further information contact Sean on 087-8862102.
 
 

11-11:45am Children’s Art Competition Killaloe Library
Followed by Children’s Entertainment, judging and prize giving. Sponsored by The Greene Room

11am-2pm Sporting Fun – Ballina GAA Pitch

11am-8pm – Féile na nÓg Plectrum Youth Music Festival Smith O’Brien’s GAA Field
Plectrum Music Festival is now in its fourth year and is strictly drug and alcohol free.
With 13 bands and a wide variety of genres there is something to suit everyone’s tastes! Age 13+ or accompanied by an adult. (Kids 12 or under go free with paying parent/guardian) find us on Facebook or contact 087-9868957 for info.

1-6pm Animal Magic McKeogh’s Field (on road to Lakeside Hotel)
A display of animals including Hawks, Falcons and Owls, Snakes, Lizards and more, giving you the opportunity to get up close and personal with a multitude of amazing creatures at close quarters and to learn more about their lifestyles. 2–3pm Art Trail Treasure Hunt. Starting point: The Wooden Spoon Cafe, Bridge St. Killaloe A chance for the family (or individuals) to spot the clues in the Art Trail and take time to view all the Art in the windows.
 
3–4pm Children’s Parade Prep Ballina Quay (in front of Flanagan’s & Molly’s)
Calling all children! Come along dressed in your favourite rainbow colour & be part of this years wonderful children’s parade. It’s that simple! Great fun to be had by all the family, everyone welcome!
 

4pm Féile Children’s Parade ‘Wings of Change’ Ballina Quay to The Pop-up Playhouse, Cathedral Quay....with a fun surprise along the way!

4.30pm Arts Banquet Killaloe Ballina Community Orchestra
The Killaloe Ballina Community Orchestra combines trad, classical, rock, pop and folk musicians, a mix of ages from under five to over sixty, and a range of standard from beginners to professionals making it, as far as we are aware, the only group of its kind in existence. It returns to the Feile Boru with a rock’n’roll medley. (Everyone welcome to join the KBCO, just turn up to the rehearsal on Thursday 30th at 5.30pm!)

Parking Restrictions
For safety to all participating in & watching the events and to ensure ease of running
we ask everyone to co-operate with the following parking restrictions.
The Green, Killaloe
From 6pm onwards on Fri 1st July to facilitate Live music performances
Between the Waters (market area)
From 10am on Sat 2nd & Sun 3rd July to facilitate Craft Market and Killaloe Farmers Market
The Bridge
Traffic on the bridge will be affected from 4-4.30pm on Saturday 2nd July to accommodate the Children’s Parade.
